Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. All things come of you, O Lord, and of your own have we given you.

When King David prayed these words before all Israel, he was preparing the gifts for the building of the temple. His prayer reminds us of an essential Christian truth: God owns everything, and we are simply stewards.

Christian giving does not fund a transaction or meet an institutional obligation. Instead, it is an act of joyful worship. When we present our tithes and offerings, we are acknowledging God’s absolute sovereignty and declaring that our lives, our work, and our resources belong to Him. We do not give to make God rich, nor because He has need; we give because every good gift originates in His hands, and returning a portion to His work aligns our hearts with His Kingdom.

Your regular financial support sustains our common worship and sacramental life, equips disciples of all ages, provides mercy to the vulnerable, and strengthens our witness in our community.
